Islam,

Praise ALLAH, the Creator of All Things in the Heavens and in the earth.  Praise ALLAH for having mercy on us and sending us a Prophet to warn us about the wrath that is sure to come. Honor to Prophet Noble Drew Ali for following the instructions.

Obedience is the first Maxim.  Can we truly be obedient to ALLAH?  ALLAH sends a Prophet to every nation to give us the message to turn from our sinful ways and to get on the straight path.  To Praise ALLAH only! He is the One that all will bow down to.  Even the Prophets bow down to ALLAH.  ALLAH is who will answer your prayers. ALLAH had mercy on us.

Prophet Noble Drew Ali says, If I can get you to thinking, you can save yourselves.  Prophet Noble Drew Ali brought us everything that it takes to save a nation.  If we would just imitate the Prophet, we would be straight.  He is our example.

Prophet Noble Drew Ali brought us back our Nationality.  We were calling ourselves black and some of us still do.  Why?  Because we are not thinking.  Isn't black a color?  I see black crayons in my children's crayon box.  I have a black purse.  How can a color be attached to any group of people and why would we accept this with no questions asked?  We are not thinking.

I got a call one day.  I was asked If I would fill out this form that was sent to me in the mail.  I told her, "NO!"  She asked why and I told her, "Your form has nothing that applies to me.  I see different nationalities on your form and then It reads black and white." I asked her, "Can I go to the airport and tell the ticket person that I want a ticket to Black?"  I told her that they would look at me as if I was crazy.  Could I get a ticket to White?  Crazy again.  Black and White are not continents or countries.  How could it be a Nationality.  How can you attach a color to any group of people.  I can however, get a ticket to Africa.  I would have to also be more specific and say what country in Africa or even what city.  Black is not one of them.  I can get a ticket to Europe and once again I would need to know what country and city in Europe.  If we would just think, we could save ourselves.  And yet, this is still not enough for our people.  I find myself telling this story over and over and giving all sorts of examples like, my purse is black, your computer is black or my turban is black and they still want to continue to call themselves these names that are a result of slavery.  We are no longer slaves.  We have a Nationality and Prophet Noble Drew Ali brought it back to us.  ALLAH loves us and is constantly showing us the guidance and the straight path.

Did you even know that you had a flag? I mean a real flag and not a banner that some of us think is our flag.  Marcus Garvey is the forerunner of Prophet Noble Drew Ali.  He wanted to get us to start thinking with pride.  We should be proud of who we are.  We should take the Europeans off our walls  and hang pictures of our own people on our walls.  We should give our children toys/dolls that look like us.  We should read and have books about our own people.  We should have Self Pride!  Marcus Garvey was an example of that.  We are worthy of our own flag and Prophet Noble Drew Ali brought it back to us.  Now, we can hold our heads up high like everyone else.  We now have our Nationality and our Divine Creed.

19.  What kind of flag is The Moorish?  It is a red flag with a five pointed green star in the center.

20.  What do the five points represent?  Love, Truth, Peace, Freedom and Justice.

21.  How old is our flag?  It is over 10,000 years old.

We live by the principles of Love, Truth, Peace, Freedom and Justice.  These are the highest principles known to man.  Can we be obedient to the principles?  Can we be obedient to ALLAH?  Can we love and not demand love in return?  Can we obey All the laws laid down to us by Prophet Noble Drew Ali?

The Prophet gave us laws to abide by.  He says if you can't obey the laws then keep your seat, or even if later, you think you can't obey them, then return to the state that the Prophet found you and turn in your card and button and cease wearing your turban or fez.  We are to obey all the laws and not pick and choose the ones that fit into our schedules.

We are instructed not to eat meat.  Some may say that this is only for Sheiks or Sheikesses.  Chapter X v.9-10 "Now, men and birds and beasts and creeping things are deities, made flesh: and how dare you kill anything?"  It is cruelty that makes the world awry, when men have learned that when they harm a living thing, they harm themselves, they surely will not kill, nor cause a thing that Allah has made to suffer pain." Chapter XI v. 35 "And now man, in his utter shamelessness, strikes down and eats the beasts..." Obey All the laws, not some of them. Obey the instructions and live the life of Moorish Character.

We are to return all thoughts and customs back to the European nations.  We are not to serve the gods of their religion. Chapter XLVIII v. 7-8 "Therefore we are returning the Church and Christianity back to the European Nations, as it was prepared by their forefathers for their earthly salvation.  While we, the Moorish Americans are returning to Islam, which was founded by our forefathers for our earthly and divine salvation."

Let's stop straying after the gods of Europe and return everything back to them; their thoughts, their teachings, their customs and  their Religion.  Let's be obedient to ALLAH.  Let's imitate Prophet Noble Drew Ali and be the message that we bring.  Don't be like that block of wood that just points the way.

Praise be to ALLAH.  Sometimes we Moors run into internal issues that stem from the fact that we have ones who hold the title Sheik who are easily influenced by outside teachings.  We also have Sheiks and members who run into ones outside of the M.S.T.A.  who challenge the validity of Prophet Noble Drew Ali and his teachings.  They are under the impression that if we do not follow Arabic customs, culture and traditions that we are not real Moslems.  This is furthest from the truth.  I touched on this subject briefly earlier on our website.  Please remember that custom does not alter the nature of truth; also general opinion is no proof of truth because the generality of men are ignorant.  These are our teachings; have faith in them.  Everything that Prophet Noble Drew Ali brought us can be proven with ALLAH'S Final Revelation, The Holy Koran of Mecca Itself.  This is why it is so important that Moors know their Holy Korans; both of them.  Not from an Arabian point of view, but from ALLAH'S point of view, the point of view from which it comes.  Remember, ALLAH is our Protector, our Guide and our Salvation; thru His Holy Prophet Drew Ali.  This means that ALLAH will deal with us thru what Prophet Noble Drew Ali brought us and taught us. Those of us who do not understand this and have faith in this are demonstrating an empty prayer and we should actually ask ALLAH for guidance. 

We are under the Divine Laws of the Holy Koran of Mecca and ALLAH instructs us in Chapter 30 verse 60:  And your Lord says:  "Call on Me, I will answer your Prayer."  ALLAH instructs us to pray to Him in order that He may guide us.  Talk to Him.  He will confirm for you the truth about the teachings of Prophet Noble Drew Ali.  He will make you strong in Moorish Science and in Islam in general.  He will give you the ammunition to defend yourselves and to defend your Prophet and your Movement.  You will be able to stand alone and you will be able to stand with your nation as a Moorish American Moslem.  

We are not Arabs; we are Moors and are descendants of Africa; we have our own customs, culture and our own way of life.  They have their ways and we have ours.  Prophet Mohammed was not the founder of Islam, he was the founder of the Uniting of Islam; because of him we unite as one community.  The Arab tribes do not have a monopoly on Islam, its practices or its Doctrine.  Praising the One and Only God of the universe ascribing no sons, no daughters, no rivals or no equals is not new.  We have been Moslems for fifty thousand years, they are just starting to practice Islam; they have about fourteen hundred years under their belts and each of us is still growing and unfolding.  As a matter of fact most of them who try to tell you how to praise ALLAH and that Arabic tradition is true Islam have a misconception in regards to the practice of Islam and the spreading of Islamic teachings.  Chapter 9, verse 97 of The Holy Koran of Mecca demonstrates that these ones are more hard in disbelief and hypocrisy, and more likely to be ignorant of the limits which ALLAH has revealed unto His Messenger.  ALLAH also instructs Prophet Mohammed what to say to them when they claim to be true believers in Chapter 49, verse 14:  The desert Arabs say, "We believe."  Say, "Ye have no faith; but ye (only) say, 'We have submitted our wills to ALLAH,' for not yet has Faith entered your hearts.  But if ye obey ALLAH and His Messenger, He will not belittle aught of your deeds:  for ALLAH is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.  Maybe this is why they insist that Islam means submission when we all know that the very word Islam itself means "Peace."  Our religion is Islamism, the practice of Peace.  Peace is the center of what we do. Our principles are Love, Truth, Peace, Freedom and Justice.  Love is the key and Justice is the lock.  Peace is in our countenance and in our demeanor and in our projection of life; Peace with ourselves, Peace with ALLAH, Peace with man and Peace with our fellow creatures.  Our other principles Truth demonstrate being our Higher Self because the Higher Self is the embodiment of Truth, which is ALLAH within; and Freedom which is our free will, our power to choose, freedom to move and to think and to act, etc.  Chapter 22, verses 67-69 of The Holy Koran of Mecca read:  Unto each nation have We given sacred rites which they are to perform; so let them not dispute with thee of the matter, but summon thou unto thy Lord.  Lo! thou indeed followest right guidance.  And if they wrangle with thee, say:  ALLAH is best aware of what ye do.  ALLAH will judge between you on the Day of Resurrection concerning that wherein ye used to differ. 

The Holy Koran itself teaches us in detail everything we need to know; for ALLAH Himself is The Great Teacher.  For example, they say that Prophet Mohammed was the last of the Prophets.  However, The Holy Koran of Mecca reads that he was the "Seal" of the Prophets.  "Last" and "Seal" are two different words in the Arabic language or any other language for that matter.  Last is synonymous with finality and seal is synonymous with authenticity.  In regards to Prophet Mohammed, the Final Revelation was revealed to him but he was not the final Prophet before the end of time.  Prophet Mohammed said in his final speech that if someone says that he said something and it is opposite of what you read in the Koran, he did not say it.  Therefore disregard what they say if what they say is not found in the Holy Koran of Mecca. 

The Final Revelation instructs us that a Prophet is sent to every nation and that a nation will not be judged until it is sent a Prophet.  This is what Prophet Noble Drew Ali meant when he said:  "ALLAH is the one who judges the world , and His judgment is now on."  Now that Prophet Noble Drew Ali has appeared to the Asiatics here in North America, we are now in the judgment seat.  But the weak can comprehend it not.  This is why the Prophet called on strong men and women who think that their condition can be better.  Because only the strong can comprehend this reality and allow themselves to be guided by ALLAH and influenced by their Prophet Noble Drew Ali.  This is Divine Law.  It is right there in the Holy Koran of Mecca; study it and you will see for yourselves that Prophet Noble Drew Ali brought us the True and Divine Creed of Islam.  Everything about our doctrine proves this. 

Prophet Noble Drew Ali said that he will not tolerate any interference with the operation of this Divine and National Movement from anyone.  Therefore any Sheik, member or outsider who think they can alter the teachings of the M.S.T.A. to fit Arabic customs and culture is sadly mistaken.  I actually had to address members who hold the title Sheik who were under the impression that they could make it mandatory that members learn the Arab way in order that we become a part of the "Larger Islamic Community."

That is "hogwash."  That is the type of spirit that tries to overthrow and drag out the true foundation that has been laid by our Holy and Divine Prophet Noble Drew Ali and cause confusion in the minds of ones that do believe.  I saw this as belittling my Prophet and I could not stand for that.  Personally I have nothing against these Moors, I just have a duty to ALLAH, to my Prophet and to the Movement.  I am printing my response to these Moors not trying to front them or anyone else in the Movement (Therefore I am revising and editing it and I am removing all personal names, etc. because as with a lot of Moors we trust that they mean well, but they have just been misguided and misinformed.  On that note we Sheiks debate all the time, and whether we agree or disagree on any given subject those of us who are true Moors still love one another and nothing is going to change that.  We may not like one another's way of thinking, but we love one another.), but to give all Moors who desire to obey the laws as laid down to them by their Prophet Noble Drew Ali ammunition if and when they encounter these same issues and to inspire Moors to study so that ALLAH can teach them as He has taught me.  We are Moors, and each of us must desire for our brothers and our sisters what we desire for ourselves; and I desire that ALLAH increase my knowledge, my wisdom and my understanding and I desire this for all true Moorish American Moslems.  I know that a chain is only as strong as its weakest link; therefore each of us that claims a part must be strong.  Each of us must sacrifice the utmost of our very lives to protect our Movement and our Prophet.

FIRST AND FOREMOST WE GIVE PRAISES TO ALLAH, THE ONE AND ONLY GOD OF THE UNIVERSE.  WE GIVE HONORS TO HIS HOLY AND DIVINE PROPHET NOBLE DREW ALI.

SUBJECT:  Interceding that the Prophet is the Law.

The purpose for this communication is to formally address members of the Grand Body concerning some misunderstandings in regards to the functioning of the Moorish Science Temple of America and Moorish Science in general.  It is a letter designed to spark communications in regards to the Adept Chamber, Adept state of mind and the basic teachings of the Moorish Science Temple of America, etc.  I am going to be a little redundant; actually I am going to be very redundant because there are obviously some things that Moors need to hear more than once.  When I read my Holy Koran of Mecca ALLAH mentions to me several things more than once; therefore I am going to use the hammer to drive home the truth and pound it in until it becomes a part of every part of you Moors’ consciousness.  We are once again in a state of emergency.  We are in a state of emergency when the Grand Body of the Moorish Science Temple of America can not come to a consensus to do things the Prophet’s way.  We are in a state of emergency when Governors and Grand Sheiks want to fuse the Prophet’s teachings with some other teachings.  We are in a state of emergency when Sheiks in the Grand Body think that their judgment is superior to that of Prophet Noble Drew Ali.  We are in a state of emergency when Grand Sheiks and Governors are under the impression that the Prophet did not really bring us everything, but he just laid the foundation and nothing more.  We are in a state of emergency when we have Sheiks who are under the impression that Prophet Noble Drew Ali did not bring enough.

These Sheiks think we have to bring in some more materials in order to complete the circle.  We are in a state of emergency when we have Sheiks who recognize the Prophet, but they are just not adept with it.  They say “ALLAH sent us a Prophet but this particular Prophet came ill-equipped.”  We are in a state of emergency when we have Sheiks who are attempting to bring teachings to the Moorish Science Temple of America instead of receiving teachings from the Moorish Science Temple of America.  We are in a state of emergency when we have Grand Sheiks and Governors who do not know the Moorish Science Temple of America Divine Constitution and By-Laws; or worst of all they don’t know the Moorish American Prayer.

There are many religious orders and religious societies in the world today.  The one we belong to was founded by Prophet Noble Drew Ali.  It is called the Moorish Divine and National Movement of North America.  It houses the Moorish Holy Temple of Science of the World, whose corporate name is The Moorish Science Temple of America.  It is not a Sufi order. It is Moorish Science.  It was founded by and is owned and operated by Prophet Noble Drew Ali.  Prophet Noble Drew Ali said:  "There is only one Moorish Science Temple of America, and it is mine."  Everything in it belongs to him.  He owns the literature, the supplies and the teachings thereof; he owns the Adept Chamber of the Moorish Science Temple of America.  He owns it all; and ALLAH owns him, the M.S.T.A. and all of us!  All Adepts know this.  If one does not know this, then he is not actually an Adept of the Moorish Science Temple of America.  He may be an Adept; just not one of the Moorish Science Temple of America. 

Prophet Noble Drew Ali said:  “I brought you everything it takes to save a nation; now take it and save yourselves.”  We have some Moors who are under the impression that he was not telling the truth.  I say this because they want to introduce and practice something other than that which was brought by Prophet Noble Drew Ali.  What does “I brought you everything it takes to save a nation” mean to you?  Obviously nothing because you keep trying to push what the Prophet didn’t.

As mentioned, there are many orders and societies and they each have their own Adepts.  They have ones who are skilled and proficient in their science whatever it may be.  They are sanctioned by their founders and/or leaders and are authorized to do whatever it is that they do.  Adepts of the Moorish Science Temple of America are skilled in the teachings of Prophet Noble Drew Ali; that is all.  They may have other skills, but what makes them Adepts of the Moorish Science Temple is that they are proficient in their obedience to the Prophet.  They obey ALLAH and they obey HIS Prophet, Noble Drew Ali.  This is what makes them good Moslems; this is what makes them competent Sheiks.

There seems to be, in the Grand Body and in the Adept Chamber, a misunderstanding of the purpose and functioning of the Moorish Science Temple of America.  Yes, it is important and a must that we grow and develop.  But we must do this according to Moorish Science, focused on Prophet Noble Drew Ali and what he brought us.  Yes, we need schools and hospitals; we need to have businesses and charities.  But in order to have these things we must first understand what it means to be members of the Moorish Science Temple of America, and how to teach as members of the Adept Chamber of The Moorish Science Temple of America.  The Moorish Science Temple of America has been around before any of us was born.  Again, it was founded by Prophet Noble Drew Ali.  He set it up and designed every aspect of it.  No one had ever heard of the phrase “Moorish Science Temple” before Prophet Noble Drew Ali created it.  Everything about it belongs to him and everything about its teachings comes from him.  As long as we obey him we are in the loop; thus we are true Moslems and we are true Moors.

Everything we need, Prophet Noble Drew Ali mentioned; and he did not mention “hadith” or “Sunnah” or “learning Arabic."  We are Moorish Americans, we have our own way of thinking; we have our own way of doing things.  We don’t think like Arabia; we don’t even think like the sons of the great empires of Egypt.  “Let us just be ourselves and stop trying to fit in with others.”  These are children’s instructions.  I should not have to go through this with those who hold the title Sheik.

It appears that you Moors have never had lessons inside of the A.C. of the M.S.T.A.  This is evident by the way you are carrying it right now.  Prophet Noble Drew Ali brought us everything we need.  We do not need any other stuff.  One of you Moors demonstrated that he is not just a parrot of Prophet Noble Drew Ali.  However, “Imitate I, the Prophet, in speech and teaching means that you are a parrot of Prophet Noble Drew Ali, at least a parrot of his teaching methods and structure.  One Moor also said that if I don’t trust another, then I don’t trust him.  Well, if one has proven that, as a Sheik of the M.S.T.A., he cannot promote Prophet Noble Drew Ali’s teachings only, without mixing them up with what someone else has to say then he is not trustworthy. 

Some of you have never been taught Moorish Science, nor have you had examples of ones who are obedient to the Prophet’s laws.  That is why you have shown the spirit of defiance; it is all over you and in you.  Some of you say that the Prophet only laid the foundation.  How dare you!  Prophet Noble Drew Ali laid the foundation and he built the house; all we have to do is just live in it.  If it was not produced, mentioned or comes from the teachings of Prophet Noble Drew Ali, then it is not Moorish Science.  The only thing that we need to bring to the table is obedience to the Prophet’s laws; that’s it.  Whatever personal skills and talents we have will be unfolded in our obedience to the Prophet’s laws.  I am surprised at some of you Moors.  There are reasons why others just don’t get it, but a few of you have no reason for not sticking to the Prophet.  You have no reason for promoting the use of Arabic in our teachings.  You yourselves said that the Prophet did not teach it.

Sorry, the items that are being pushed are unacceptable because this is the Moorish Science Temple of America.  Do you think that with what you brought from halfway around the world you can make Moorish Science even better?  Once again, how dare you!  How dare you think that you can deliver to us better teachings than those delivered to us by Prophet Noble Drew Ali!  We do not need a supplement; all we need is to follow the Prophet’s instructions. 

I don’t know where you Moors are coming from; but obviously it is not from a Temple in the Moorish Science Temple of America because you don’t know Moorish Science.  We don’t teach what you are bringing to the table.  You say that we need to become a part of the “Larger Islamic Community.”  Prophet Noble Drew Ali said that we are to become a part and a partial of all uplifting acts of the Moorish Science Temple of America.  As mentioned earlier, if you were truly Adepts in Moorish Science then you would know that Prophet Noble Drew Ali already made us part of the “Larger Islamic Community.”  In the “Larger Islamic Community” we praise the ONE AND ONLY GOD OF THE UNIVERSE, ALLAH, we live a life of morality and we demonstrate certain rituals.  In the “Larger Islamic Community” we carry the principles of Love, Truth, Peace, Freedom and Justice; the highest principles known to man which are ancient principles of the Moabite Nation.  In the “Larger Islamic Community” we serve our near of kin, those who are no kin, the stranger at the gates, the foe who seeks to do us harm; we assist the poor, help the weak, do harm to none and covet not what is not ours.  This is demonstrated almost word for word in both the Holy Koran of Mecca and the Holy Koran of the Moorish Science Temple of America. 

 We are a part of the “Larger Islamic Community” because we follow Islamic teachings, not because we speak the Arabic language.  Of course the Holy Koran of Mecca was revealed to Prophet Mohammed in Arabic; because he was an Arabian. That was the only language he spoke.  He could not read or write; he only knew how to speak.  The final revelation had to be revealed to him in the language of his native tongue or he would not have understood it.  This fact is explained to us in the Holy Koran of Mecca itself.  Study it and you will see for yourself.  Being part of the “Larger Islamic Community” is based not on the language of our tongues but on the language of our hearts.  The gifts of the understanding are the treasures of ALLAH and he hath appointed to everyone his portion, in what measure seemeth good unto HIMSELF.  Therefore if we do not understand what the “Larger Islamic Community” is, then He did not endow us with wisdom or enlighten our minds with the knowledge of truth.  One brother wrote that ALLAH endowed him with wisdom and that He enlightened his mind with the knowledge of truth and yet he doesn’t know the truth about the Moorish Science Temple of America.  The truth is we can’t add anything to it or take anything away from it.  We can only grow and unfold with it and create our own laws and customs.  However, these laws and customs must be in conjunction with the laws of Prophet Noble Drew Ali and the Grand Temple.  The Prophet covered it all and he put a seal on it.  You Moors are just not thinking, and you don't know that you are not thinking.

You call yourselves Adepts of the Moorish Science Temple of America and yet you have no adept science coming from the Moorish Science Temple of America.  Who was your first Grand Sheik?  What did he teach you?  Obviously it was not Moorish Science.  In Moorish Science we teach only what Prophet Noble Drew Ali taught.  In Moorish Science we bring only what Prophet Noble Drew Ali brought.  Prophet Noble Drew Ali is ALLAH’S Prophet; he is the founder of the Moorish Science Temple of America; if he didn’t bring it then it is not Moorish Science, it is some other kind of science.  I am a true Adept of the Moorish Science Temple of America and I can make my case and I can teach members and Sheiks using only what Prophet Noble Drew Ali brought me.  I don’t need a Sunnah or a hadith.  All I need is Prophet Noble Drew Ali’s Holy Instructions.  In Prophet Noble Drew Ali’s Holy Instructions, the Holy Koran of Mecca is for teaching and instructing all Moorish Americans, etc.  There is no Sunnah or hadith that is a part of those Holy Instructions.  We cannot make them a part of his teachings because he did not make them part of his teachings.

Therefore here is a message for those who are under the impression that they can enhance the Prophets teachings.  You cannot enhance Prophet Noble Drew Ali’s teachings.  He is ALLAH’S Prophet.  How dare you!  You can’t add anything to his teachings to make them better.  But by you thinking you could shows your character.  Let me say that again.  There is nothing that you can add to Moorish Science to make it better, absolutely nothing!  You have nothing special for the M.S.T.A.; you have no special teachings, special lessons or special ceremonies, etc.  You don’t even have six articles of faith.  ALLAH mentions to us in HIS Final Revelation (The Holy Koran of Mecca) five articles of faith:  “belief in ALLAH, belief in HIS Angels, belief in HIS Scriptures, belief in HIS Prophets and belief in the Day of Judgment.”  That adds up to five.  Where did the sixth one come in at?  Are you saying that ALLAH forgot one?  Are you saying that you have additions to the Holy Koran of Mecca also?  This is an oxymoron; and most unacceptable.  How dare you think that you can enhance the Final Revelation of ALLAH HIMSELF!  The Divine Decree is expressed and explained in chapter 1 of the Holy Koran of the Moorish Science Temple of America.  It is mentioned in chapter 2 of the Holy Koran of the Moorish Science Temple: simply put:  "Law governs all events."

You put all that misinformation on our website calling it Moorish Science.  We came from the Prophet’s “Original Temple” in Chicago and yet our website does not contain the Prophet’s “Original Teachings.”  It contains information not produced in the Moorish Science Temple of America; therefore it is not Moorish Science.  Those who demonstrated the site and anyone who sanctions the site are in violation of the Prophet’s laws.  The reason that you are in violation of the Prophet’s laws is because you don’t know the Prophet’s laws or instructions.  This statement is proven by the website itself.  Again, Prophet Noble Drew Ali instructed us in regards to the Holy Koran of Mecca; that it is to be used for teaching and instructing all Moorish Americans, etc.  He did not mention that any hadith is to be used for teaching and instructing any Moorish American, etc.

It was mentioned that the website is good marketing.  Well, what exactly is it that we are marketing?  Yea it is good marketing if we are marketing Arab Islam.  It is not good marketing if we are marketing Moorish Science.  As far as Moorish Science is concerned, the website is truth and falsehood strangely mixed.  We asked that the website come down until those who are putting the information on it understand how to present true Moorish Science and that the Grand Body approved all the information therein.  That request was denied.  So now let everyone involved taste the fire.  We are causing confusion in the minds of the ones who do believe.  That would make us evil spirits.  The website is a travesty and an embarrassment.  Yes, it looks good.  But as far as Moorish Science is concerned, its core is full of bitterness and gall.  How dare we say that we are promoting Moorish Science when on our website Moorish Science is not promoted.  Those involved with the website may hold the title Sheik in the Moorish Science Temple of America; but the website itself is proof that they are not Adepts in Moorish Science.  True Adepts of the Moorish Science Temple of America know how to present Moorish Science in public; not one hadith is used.  Prophet Noble Drew Ali himself did not mix his teachings with Arab teachings.  What makes us think that we can?  Are we better teachers than Prophet Noble Drew Ali? 

On our website in the doctrine there is more Arab Science than Moorish Science.  This means that those involved have not spent time in the Adept Chamber of the Moorish Science Temple of America.  In the A.C. of the M.S.T. of A. we put Prophet Noble Drew Ali on the line; he is up front.  All that other stuff is your private information and we don’t need it for our public use, neither for support or backing.  The last Prophet in these days is Noble Drew Ali, who was prepared divinely in due time by ALLAH to redeem men from their sinful ways; and to warn them of the great wrath which is sure to come upon the earth.  Prophet Noble Drew Ali was prepared and sent by ALLAH.  What better support is there?  What better backing is there than ALLAH HIMSELF?  All members of the M.S.T.A. should believe this and all members of the A.C. of the M.S.T. of A. should demonstrate fruition in this.  Adepts of Prophet Noble Drew Ali would never do what we have done nor allowed us to do it.  If we are not going to obey the Prophet’s laws and be good examples of true Moorish Scientists, good Moorish American Moslems, then what does the Prophet need us for?

Sheiks are focused; we are dedicated to Prophet Noble Drew Ali and what he brought us.   To us Moorish Science is what Prophet Noble Drew Ali taught; it is not something that we learned halfway across the globe.  Moorish Science is not the language we speak; it is the life we lead.  The Prophet said “I brought you everything it takes to save a nation, now take it and save yourselves.”  When he used the word “I” he was referring to “Himself.”  He did not mention any of us.  He mentioned about us that “we” are going to carry out his laws. He did not say that we were going to complete his teachings, but that we were going to carry out “His” laws.  When the Prophet said, in his laws, that “we” are teaching our people their nationality and their Divine Creed the “we” is directed towards himself and those Sheiks who imitate “him” in speech and teaching; no one else.

 We do not go to Jumah to worship with the other nations at noon and then go to the M.S.T.A. and hang out with Moors at 8.00 p.m. and mix up the teachings that we receive from followers of Arab Islam.  We do not mix our teachings with those teachings of the Moslems of the East.  We have different issues than they do.  They were not put into slavery and stripped of their nationality and their divine creed and everything that makes them who they are.  When the Prophet Noble Drew Ali informed us of the fact that when the European went to Africa to find ones to labor for them and they said "take those Moors, they aren't doing anything," who do you think the they was who said that?  You might want to do some real study to find out who actually helped put our people in slavery.  It was the Arabs.  Everybody knows that but us and the Europeans in this country that have only read history books written here in America and have not been truly educated.  The reason this occurred to us was explained to us by the Prophet in The Holy Koran of the Moorish Science Temple of America in Chapter 47, and that was our fault.  This is why it is so important for us to demonstrate our forefathers' Ancient Divine Creed and Principles; that which Prophet Noble Drew Ali has returned to us.  We should let everyone else do their thing and we do ours with no love lost.  We need to learn to love instead of hate; and let that love begin with self and spread abroad.  We should truly demonstrate who we are and truly accept others for who they are.  This is called tolerance.  If what they do is in violation of our creed and principles then that is their business, not ours.  Certain things are not accepted in our circle; but they are not in our circle.  To them be their way and to us be ours.  Let everyone do the things that keeps a smile on their face, as long as they don't interfere with the rights of others, all is well.  On Judgment Day ALLAH will judge us all.

We follow the teachings of the Holy Koran of Mecca itself, we do not follow Arabic tradition or interpretation; we can interpret things for ourselves.  Besides, the Holy Koran of Mecca was revealed in details, there is no interpretation needed for those whom ALLAH allows to understand it.  The Holy Koran of Mecca itself contains the True Ancient Divine Laws and Creed; and it does not differ from any other True Sacred Scripture, it just confirms them all, including the Holy Koran of the Moorish Science Temple of America.  We have our support and they have theirs; our support is the Holy Koran of the Moorish Science Temple of America.  We need neither the “hadith” nor a “Sunnah” nor do we need Arabic terms to support or explain our Prophet’s Teachings.  Prophet Noble Drew Ali did not teach us neither hadith nor the Sunnah and we are to imitate the Prophet in speech and teaching.  In the Holy Koran of Mecca ALLAH instructs all to follow that which was brought to them by their Prophet.  He will inform us on the Day of Judgment about the things in which we differ.  We cannot knowingly violate the Prophet’s instructions; that would be a violation of the Divine Laws of the Holy Koran of Mecca.  If we continue in this manner we might as well have the Imam come and teach us their stuff.  We are not members of nor are we recruiting for any other order besides the order of Moorish Science founded by Prophet Noble Drew Ali.  This is how Adepts of the Moorish Science Temple of America carry it; we do it the Prophet’s way.  We are a part of and partial to the Moorish Science Temple of America, its laws and its uplifting acts.  We prefer no others above it or with it.  The Prophet requires our total and undying loyalty.  This is the “Law” and the “Law” must live.  We can appreciate how others do it, but we have our own way. 

As Prophet Mohammed was the last prophet in those days, Prophet Noble Drew Ali is the last prophet in these days.  Prophet Mohammed came to fulfill the works of Prophet Jesus and Prophet Noble Drew Ali came to bring us back in tune with that of which we lost; to teach us how to once again praise ALLAH properly; basically to return the works of Mohammed amongst the Asiatics here in America.  This is what it is meant by “The Moorish Science Temple of America deriving its power and authority from the Great Koran of Mohammed to propagate the faith and extend the learning and truth of the Great Prophet of Ali, in America.  To anoint, appoint and consecrate missionaries of the prophet and to establish the faith of Mohammed in America.”  This puts us under Islamic Canon Law and makes us a part of the “Larger Islamic Community.” 

There is nothing that you can add to Prophet Noble Drew Ali’s teachings to make them better.  Moorish Science is not a soup or a stew that needs different ingredients to make it what it is.  Moorish Science has one ingredient, “Prophet Noble Drew Ali’s Teachings;” “His Divine Instructions and Laws;” that’s it.  Ones cannot be legitimate members of the A.C. of the M.S.T.A. and not know this.  Legitimate members of the A.C. of the M.S.T.A follow Prophet Noble Drew Ali only.  I’m sure you have read this somewhere:  “Moors are men, upright, independent and fearless, who care for their loved ones and follow the Prophet to a destination which is not uncertain, nor unknown.”  The words “The Prophet” is referring to Prophet Noble Drew Ali.  Our allegiance is to Prophet Noble Drew Ali, no other.  We honor and love with a passion all of the Prophets; we make no distinction between them.  But the one we are aligned with and whose teachings we follow, his name is Noble Drew Ali.  His teachings address the needs of our nation.

It is a sad situation when someone says to a Sheik: “Stick to the Prophet” and that Sheik says that he is being hated on because he is not doing it the Prophet’s way.  As a matter of fact, when someone shows undying love and loyalty for the Prophet and a Sheik interprets that love for the Prophet as being hateful on him makes that Sheik a perpetrator.  Ones call themselves adepts of the Moorish Science Temple of America but yet they do not recognize the Prophet.  The Prophet said:  “My sheep know the sound of my voice, a stranger will not follow.”  This means that some Moors are actually strangers to the Prophet and are strangers to Moorish Science because they refuse to follow the Prophet’s written law; his written law is his voice. 

Moors are trying to say that the Prophet wanted us to be international, etc.  ALLAH tells us in the Holy Koran of Mecca that He could have made us one community if He wanted to.  But He did not.  He divided us up into nations; and every nation has its own religious ceremonies.  But of course you Moors would rather us demonstrate the Arab doctrine instead of the Moorish doctrine because apparently you love Arab Science more than you love Moorish Science.  That is why you are fighting so hard to introduce Arabic terms into the Moorish Science Temple of America.  You say that the Prophet used the term “Sultan” which is an Arabic term.  If what you say is true then we should most definitely learn Hebrew because “Elohim” is a Hebrew term.  We should also learn Italian because the Prophet used Roman Numerals in The Holy Koran of the Moorish Science Temple of America; and since he speaks of Temple Kapivistu we should learn Hindu.  "Come on now Moors, let us be real, and let us just be ourselves." 

You Moors want to add some more items to the Prophet’s teachings so that they can be right.  Know this:  "If the Prophet is not right, the Temple is not right."  You want to recommend books, articles and papers that are good to read.  Why don’t you recommend the Divine Constitution and By Laws; you have proven that you don’t know that one; proving that you do not know the sound of the Prophet’s voice.  Recommend the General Laws, the Supreme Laws.  Recommend the Additional Laws.  What is the difference in being “a part and a partial” and being “part and parcel?”  What does Act 1 of the DCBL mean?  You Moors don’t know.  That is why you are trying to introduce demonstrations that the Prophet already made law.  Act 1 of the Divine Constitution and By-Laws means that there cannot be in any Temple different laws or teachings other than those written or sanctioned by Prophet Noble Drew Ali.  This means that all the Temples of the Moorish Science Temple of America teach the exact same thing.  This means laws written by him or laws of the Constitution authorized by him.  This is what is meant by “…with the assistance of the Prophet and the Grand Body of the Moorish Science Temple of America.”  One cannot go to a Temple on the East coast and find different teachings than those in a Temple on the West coast.  That would be a violation of the law.  For Adepts in Moorish Science, these issues are no-brainers.  Why?  Because we are Adepts; we love ALLAH, we love Prophet Noble Drew Ali, and we love the Moorish Science Temple of America.  “Learn to esteem as thou aught, then art thou near the pinnacle of wisdom.”

Some of you Moors do not have adept lessons coming from the Moorish Science Temple of America.  This is why one can humbly disagree with a presentation of the Prophet’s laws because one has never been taught in the Adept Chamber of the Moorish Science Temple of America.  Adepts of the Moorish Science Temple of America cannot disagree with Prophet Noble Drew Ali’s laws; humbly or otherwise.  There is only one way of doing things in the Moorish Science Temple of America, and that is: “The Prophet’s way.”  It’s the Prophet’s way or no way. 

He said “Imitate I the Prophet in speech and teaching” because we receive teachings from him, we do not bring teachings to him.  Again, the only thing each of us needs to bring to the table is obedience to the Prophet’s laws.  Whatever talents we have will be used and/or developed from there.  We would like to learn different languages; that is good.  But learning Arabic, or any other language, is not a requirement to be a member of the M.S.T.A.; neither is it a requirement for being a good Moorish American Moslem; but obeying the Prophet’s laws is.  As it is demonstrated when we first visit the M.S.T.A.:  “If you have heard our laws and you think that you can obey these laws and you would like to link up with us then step up to the Secretary’s table and take out a Nationality card and become a part of the uplifting of fallen humanity.  But if you do not think that you can obey these laws, then it is best that you keep your seat.  Since none of us kept our seats, then it is mandatory that we obey the laws.

In order to be Sheiks in the M.S.T.A. we must be in tune with all of the laws, rules and regulations of the Prophet and we must obey them to the letter.  Noble Drew Ali is ALLAH’S Prophet.  He is the one who determines what we are to learn or what we are not to learn as a requirement of membership in the Movement.  He is the one who declared that we are Moslems under the Divine Laws of the Holy Koran of Mecca.  No one should be able to refute or contradict this in your sight unless they have more credibility in your heart than the Prophet of ALLAH himself. 

What makes us Moslems is our genetic code.  What makes us good Moslems is our thoughts, our words and our deeds.  We are Moslems by nature.  Chapter 45 of the Holy Koran of the Moorish Science Temple of America is called “The Divine Origin of the Asiatic Nations.”  In it the Prophet lists a group of nations who are Moslems by nature.  The Moorish Americans are included on that list.  The Prophet informed us that the Holy Koran of the Moorish Science Temple of America contains our Divine Laws, our Holy Instructions from our Prophet.  Can someone else tell you that you are not something that your Prophet said that you are by natural law?  The Prophet instructed us that all true Moors must obey the laws laid down to them by their Prophet.  Have you Moors lost faith and confidence in your Prophet’s Holy Instructions?  We must have confidence in our Prophet and faith in his instructions to us.  Can someone change your nature and/or your hearts and your faith in your Prophet’s words just because you don’t speak their language?  Faith is what one knows is truth.  Is your faith based on the language you speak?  The Arabic language is not the Islamic Creed of Mecca.

We are not Arabs; we have different national laws and customs than they do.  We speak a different language than they do.  Are we less Islamic because of these differences?  What about our Prophet’s instructions to us?  Have we lost faith in those instructions and have we decided that what someone else thinks of us is real?  Does our ability to communicate with them verbally determine our Islamic substance?  Again, what about the Prophet?  What about his instructions to us?  Does what they think override his instructions and invalidate his laws?  What makes us good Moslems is our obedience to his laws and instructions.  ALLAH already completed our religion for us.  What Prophet Noble Drew Ali brought us teaches us how to be what we are.  No one can change the descent nature of anyone unless their powers exceed those of the GREAT GOD OF THE UNIVERSE, ALLAH, HIMSELF.  We are what our forefathers were, no matter what language we speak.  Our thoughts, words and deeds determine whether we are acting according to the creed and principles of our forefathers, not the language we speak.  Following our Prophet’s Divine Instructions makes us what we are:  "Moorish American Moslems."  We don’t have to fit in to what someone else thinks of us as long as we are obeying our Prophet.  There is no law in the Holy Koran of Mecca that requires us to speak Arabic.  However, it does read in Chapter 14, verse 4 of the Holy Koran of Mecca:  “We sent not a messenger except (to teach) in the language of his (own) people, in order to make clear to them.”  We are Moorish Americans because we are descendants of Moroccans and born in America.  The last time I checked the language we speak here in America is English.  Again, it is good to learn other languages, but that is not a requirement to be a good Moorish American.

 In order to join the Moorish Science Temple of America, one must purchase a Nationality Card, a M.A. ALLAH crescent button and one must pay one month’s dues.  The Nationality Card has our sacred symbols on it and two blank lines for the member’s name and age at the time of joining the Temple.  It reads “This is your Nationality and identification card for the Moorish Science Temple of America and birthrights for the Moorish Americans, etc.  We honor all the divine prophets Jesus, Mohammad, Buddah and Confucius.  May the blessings of the God of our Father Allah be upon you that carry this card.  I do hereby declare that you are a Moslem under the Divine Laws of the Holy Koran of Mecca, Love, Truth, Peace, Freedom and Justice.  “I am a citizen of the U.S.A.  Noble Drew Ali, the Prophet.” 

The Holy Koran of Mecca is the Final Revelation of ALLAH and it explains everything we need to know in detail.  Our following of its laws binds us to the “Larger Islamic Community” and it keeps us in tune with Deific Will.  Our Questionnaire connects us with the “Larger Islamic Community.”  Most of the “Oral Statements of Prophet Noble Drew Ali” were reported by those who were present when he said them.  We honor these Moors for their report.  Adeptly speaking, however, our Laws and our Questionnaire contain the “True Official Statements of the Prophet.”  It is not heresy or a report of what he said.  He wrote it himself. 

We, as Moors, cannot get caught up in what someone else is doing or saying.  Remember:  “Custom does not alter the nature of truth.”  As far as what they think, please know that “general opinion is no proof of truth because the generality of men are ignorant.  In order to be good Moorish American Moslems we must obey ALLAH and obey the Prophet He sent to us; that is all.  In order to be good Moorish American Moslems all we have to do is what we said that we were going to do when we took out our Nationality Cards, and that is “obey the laws.”  If we focus on what Prophet Noble Drew Ali brought to us and study it and know it and live it we will find that we are pleasing in the sight of ALLAH.  Isn’t that our goal, to be pleasing in the sight of ALLAH, isn't that the supreme accomplishment?  ALLAH did not send us an Imam to show us their ways.  He sent us Prophet Noble Drew Ali to bring us back ours.  Again, it is not the language of our tongues that makes us what we are, but the language of our hearts.  Let us purify our hearts with love and holy zeal and be what we are instead of trying to act upon what someone else thinks that we should be.

Are not the words of our Prophet good enough for you Moors?  Again, have you lost confidence in our Prophet?  Have you ever had confidence in our Prophet?  If you do have confidence in our Prophet, then have faith in his words and his lessons that they do make you what he declares that you are.  No one can determine whether or not we are Moslems except for ALLAH HIMSELF.  He sent us a Prophet to inform us of our Nationality and our Divine Creed and he came equipped with lessons so that we can be who and what we are.  We are not Arab Moslems; we are Moorish American Moslems.  We are related to the Arabians in that we have the same father and mother.  But we have our own laws and customs.  Our Teachings are different than theirs.  The roles of women in our Temples are not like they are in the Mosques and Masjids.  How many female Imams do you know or have heard of being in existence in the Arab orders of Islam?  The Prophet mentions Sheiks and Sheikesses, Grand Sheiks and Grand Sheikesses in his laws.  How many Imamesses do you know of?  Also, they have more than one wife, we don’t; they eat meat, our Sheiks don’t; they greet “A-Salaam Alaikum,” we greet “Islam;” they have their prayer position, we have ours, etc.  We are not trying to be like them and we do not need validation from them.  If we try to be like them or live up to their expectations then we lose ourselves.  In that instance we are no longer us, we are them.  Always be yourself.  That way you don’t have to worry about running into the man you think you are.  Once you run into him you have lost your identity.  You thought you were him, but he showed up and because he is him now you have no identity.  As long as we obey Prophet Noble Drew Ali we will always be good Moslems and we will always be true Moors.

In my business, I meet people from all over the world, many of whom are Moslems.  When we talk about Islam and the way we live our lives, I use not one word of Arabic.  When we go our separate ways they are delighted and proud to call me their brother in Islam.  In the office I encounter different types of nationalities of Moslems.  Each and every one of them that has talked to me about Islam has determined that I am a real Moslem and I have never uttered one word of Arabic.  They have determined that my heart is Islamic.  I don’t speak any Arabic; I just follow the teachings of Prophet Noble Drew Ali and that speaks for itself.  I’m not telling you what I heard; I am the message that I bring.  I am a follower of Prophet Noble Drew Ali only.  Noble Drew Ali is our Prophet.  He brought us everything it takes to save ourselves.  All we have to do is exercise faith, hope and love and climb up to the dome of purity in life.  Prophet Noble Drew Ali brought us everything we need in order for us to do this.

Anyone who has ever been connected with or has ever seen Moors in action and they think that we are not real Moslems, it is because the Moors that they were connected with or have seen in action were not living according to the Prophet’s laws and instructions.  When true Moors follow their Master’s footprints the world can see that they are what they claim to be.  Prophet Noble Drew Ali was a “Real Moslem” and he did not have to speak to anyone in Arabic.  Why can’t we just imitate the Prophet and be “real Moslems” too without having to speak Arabic to anyone.  Let our lives be determined by what Prophet Noble Drew Ali gave us instead of by what someone else says that we need.  Prophet Noble Drew Ali was divinely prepared by ALLAH.  Is not the word of the Prophet good enough for us; or do we need validation from those who were not prepared by ALLAH to redeem man from his sinful ways and to warn him of the great wrath which is sure to come upon the earth?

What makes us successful is not being able to communicate with the Eastern Moslems in the Arabic language, but being able to communicate with the unconscious Moors here in America in the English language.  What you Moors really need to do is take an English class.  Then maybe you will understand the language that Prophet Noble Drew Ali used.  Then perhaps you will learn how to obey his laws and instructions and then perhaps you will truly and/or fully understand the Prophet’s teachings; because right now you don’t.  That is why you think that we need supplements to his teachings.

We have ones who want to claim Moorish Science but they don’t want to live Moorish Science.  We must exercise the teachings brought to us by the Prophet.  Again, we must demonstrate faith, hope and love.  One cannot be a good Moorish American Moslem if he does not live Moorish Science.  “The 12 Maxims of Truth” are among the many lessons that Prophet Noble Drew Ali brought to us in order that we might be who we are.  They are the twelve steps of the ladder on which we ascend to reach the pinnacle of that which life is spent to build:  The Temple of Perfect Man.  Exercising the 12 Maxims of Truth makes us good Moorish Scientists and makes us good Moslems. 

Moorish Science begins with “obedience;” obedience to ALLAH, obedience to HIS Prophet.  In the “12 Maxims of Truth” the first thing that we are instructed to teach our children is ‘obedience.’  Obedience is the first maxim of truth.  One cannot be a true Moorish Scientist without first exercising this quality.  Before taking out a Nationality Card we must commit ourselves to this quality.  If one cannot obey the laws then it is best that he keeps his seat because it means that he will not be a good Moslem.  Anyone who cannot obey cannot be a good Moslem, no matter how much information they have accumulated.  That which we teach our children must be qualities that we possess.  If not, we are not teaching, we are just passing on information.  The children can’t be what they can’t see.  Moorish Science is something we live, not something we talk about.

Obedience to the Prophet’s laws is paramount to being a Moorish Scientist.  If we don’t live it, then we are not teaching it; we are just pointing the way, and a block of wood can do the same.  For example, in our last telephone meeting when I mentioned that I was writing this letter, one of you made a point that I make sure that I don’t falsely accuse anyone; and on that same subject when the topic of profanity came up he admitted that he uses fowl language and that this is a subject on which he is going to have to deal with ALLAH.  This is typical of most Moorish leaders.  We want to apply the laws to someone else but we refuse to apply the laws to ourselves.  Restraining ourselves from using profanity is the law; it is not an option, not just something that we need to work on.  It is something that we need to demonstrate.  Obedience to the law is not an option, it is a requirement.  That was the problem that we had in the Temple in California; Sheiks wanted to enforce the laws upon the members and not enforce them upon themselves.  That is the problem throughout the Moorish Science Temple of America.  This is why ones are under the impression that we are not really Moslems because we are not really obeying the Prophet’s laws or any other laws as far as that is concerned. 

We have ones with criminal mentalities that carry Nationality Cards.  Yes we do have a lot of Moors who learn about the Prophet’s teachings while they are incarcerated.  They learn about the Prophet, about being Moslems and they strive to be good Moors.  Then we also have a lot of Moors who learn about the Prophet while incarcerated and never lose that criminal mentality.  Then we have Moors who, whether they were incarcerated or not, are just straight criminals and evil spirits.  We came from the Prophet’s original Temple; and we can’t point the finger at anyone.  We have recently had Moors who rob banks and commit suicide and do all kinds of things that are not Moorish or Islamic. 

Therefore we can’t point the finger; neither can we just sweep these incidents under the rug.  They occurred on our watch.  This means that we were not teaching Moorish Science correctly.  We obviously did not inspire ones with love and holy zeal about the reality of the Prophet’s teachings.  “Whatever belongs to our neighbor should be sacred from our touch.”  Also, “our life is to others worth more than our death; it is our duty to preserve it.”  We must make sure that our Prophet’s teachings are our very livelihood and that all of our members know it.  We must inspire righteousness and total faith in ALLAH.  ALLAH provides for us all.  We must know that He is going to test us and that we must pass His tests. 

Each of us who are members of the M.S.T.A. must put ourselves in check and humble ourselves to ALLAH and to His Prophet Noble Drew Ali.  We must tune into our own Moorish spirituality and obey our instructions because they keep us in tune with our higher selves.  For example, our Dietary instructions are a must for all Sheiks.  We must be examples for new members.  We must be examples of how to follow the laws not examples of how not to follow the laws.  How can we expect them to follow the laws and customs if we refuse to do so ourselves?  I give honors to one of you Moors for being in tune with the proper Moorish diet for Sheiks.  The rest of you Sheiks need to stop acting like spoiled teenagers and follow instructions.  Just stop eating meat!  You call yourselves Sheiks and Adepts but yet you cannot follow simple instructions.

Be advised that you are hereby put on notice that disobedience to the Prophet will not be tolerated in the A.C. of the M.S.T. of A.  Mistakes are one thing, we all make them.  As a matter of fact ALLAH instructs us in His Final Revelation Chapter 16, verse 61 that if He were to punish us for our wrongdoing, He would not leave on earth a single living creature; so we all fall short.  However outright defiance is outside of Moorish Character.  The Prophet has laws, and we will enforce them.  It is our duty and direct orders from the Prophet to intercede that “He” is the Law.  When violations of the law are brought to our attention, we must comply.  If you see me in violation of any of the Prophet’s Laws, let me know.  Quote the law that I have violated, I will comply immediately. 

You Moors must recognize Prophet Noble Drew Ali for what he is; do not think that you can circumvent his laws.  The Moorish Science Temple of America exists because of ALLAH and HIS Prophet, not because of any of us.  Noble Drew Ali is ALLAH’S Prophet and he must have his way.  You are doing the same thing that the Romans did when they fused the teachings of Jesus with Greco/Roman tradition; trying to mix pure teachings with someone else’s tradition.

The Moorish Science Temple of America is where the Prophet left his spirit. It was not left in any other entity.  We are what you see, and we are what you don’t see.  If you don’t see it, this means that you have not looked hard enough.  We have members, we have Adepts and we have the Grand Body.  Each is a part of the Moorish Science Temple of America, and each has its function in the Moorish Science Temple of America. 

Again, the Moorish Science Temple of America is where the Prophet left his spirit.  There are teachings in the A.C. of the M.S.T. of A. for the Moor who is seeking “high science.”  How many Adept Meetings have any of you attended?  I mean real Adept Meetings; ones opened according to the “Circle Seven” and Love, Truth, Peace, Freedom and Justice.  I mean Meetings where the spirit of the Prophet is present in his teachings and ALLAH, THE ONE AND ONLY GOD, is invoked and we all receive our lessons and blessings from ALLAH, THE ALL KNOWER; BESTOWER OF ALL KNOWLEDGE AND WISDOM. 

Not one of you Moors mentioned in this communication have demonstrated that you are Adepts in Moorish Science.  Moorish Science is something you learn by studying Prophet Noble Drew Ali, not by studying Sunnah teachings.  I too like a lot of the items that some of you Moors have presented; but I know that it is not “Moorish Science.”  How many of you have been to a meeting where the Laws and customs of the Prophet are eaten and his spirit is digested?  You Moors think that you have something to teach in the A.C. of the M.S.T. of A.  How can you be a teacher in the A.C. of the M.S.T. of A. when you have never been a student in the A.C. of the M.S.T. of A.?  You Moors are oxymorons; you just don’t make sense.  Prophet Noble Drew Ali is the founder of the Moorish Science Temple of America and the Adept Chamber therein.  In our Adept Chamber we study the Prophet; that is why it is called the A.C. of the M.S.T. of A.  Because we study only Prophet Noble Drew Ali; just like we don’t bring any other teachings to our public meetings, we do not bring any other teachings to our adept meetings either. 

Adept Meetings are an institution of Moorish Science, instituted by the Prophet himself; there should be one held each week.  We have laws that apply to Adepts only.  All Adept Meetings are not business meetings.  Most Adept Meetings are spiritual meetings where we come together and study everything the Prophet gave us in depth. It is where we learn how to think like Adepts and how to be Adepts.  It is where we learn how not only to put the Prophet’s Laws in our heads but how to put them on our hearts; not just to memorize them, but to live by them.  Seasoned Adepts have been to hundreds or thousands of them.  They are not just members who hold the title Sheik.  They are members who see the wisdom of obeying the Prophet’s word.  They know that they must by law obey the word of the Prophet.  If one does not attend Adept Meetings, then he cannot learn how to be an Adept.  In these meetings each sincere individual is drenched with the spirit of the Moorish American.  The Adept Moorish American is one who eats the Laws of the Prophet and digests the spirit of the Prophet and by example inspires others to be good Moslems. 

The purpose of the Moorish Science Temple of America is for the uplifting of fallen humanity.  The focus is to return to that state of mind of our forefathers Divine Creed and Principles.  This, as well as everything else in the Moorish Science Temple of America, begins with self.  When we open our Holy Koran of the Moorish Science Temple of America the first thing we read is:  Know Thyself and ALLAH.  Know yourself first.  How are you going to know your God if do not know yourself?  Our goal is to redeem man from his sinful and fallen stage of humanity back to the highest plane of life with his Father, God ALLAH.  This begins with self.  Prophet Noble Drew Ali brought us everything it takes to do this.  We receive and have access to everything we need in the beginning and we understand these lessons and blessings in stages.  You insolent beginners and others think you can debate me on Moorish Science when you have never received instructions in a Spiritual Adept Meeting nor have you truly studied the Holy Koran of Mecca which is for teaching and instructing all Moorish Americans, etc.; you have only been to Business Meetings.  Proof of this is that you don’t even know the Divine Constitution and By-Laws or worst of all you don’t know the Moorish American Prayer.  Your Holy Koran of Mecca confirms everything that you read in your Holy Koran of the Moorish Science Temple of America, everything.

In the upcoming Convention we will be discussing “True Moorish Science” unadulterated, and unmolested by other teachings.  If this communication upset you, then good!  You are hereby put in check.  The error of your ways should be pointed out to you in regards to Moorish Science.  When you come to Convention, leave your feelings and your childlike emotions at home.  Don’t get me wrong; what you bring is probably good information, but it is not Moorish Science.  Let us focus on Prophet Noble Drew Ali’s words and deeds.  He is our teacher and he left his footprints clearly paved so that those of us who follow him can clearly see that, he, our Master went that way.  Those are his Holy Instructions to us.  Either we follow his instructions or we are not Moorish Scientists.  Those of us, any of us, who do not follow the Prophet’s written laws and instructions are snakes, scorpions, rats, weasels and lizards; all of the above.  If we are members of the Moorish Science Temple of America and we refuse to follow the Prophet’s written law then why are we here?  Are we trying to cause confusion in the minds of the ones that do believe?  If this is the case then we are enemies to the Movement.  The Moorish Science Temple of America is a Sacred Institution; let us all treat it accordingly.  Let every member lace up his shoes or face the fire.
